   Meet Me In Oakville

Bronte East (Includes West and South West)

Bronte East includes West and South West Oakville it extends from Lake Ontario (south)  to the QEW (north), and from Third line (west) to Dorval Drive (east).

Coronation Park is found in Bronte East and is  located on Lake Ontario just east of Third Line. There’s so many fun things to do at the park. The water is shallow for wading, there’s a splash pad, outdoor theatre, picnic tables, skating in the winter and more.

Another highlight of this area is Appleby College founded in 1911 and located on a picturesque 60-acre campus. Appleby is one of Canada’s top independent schools, a university preparatory, coeducational day/boarding school for students in Grades 7–12.

The west and south west areas of Oakville were established in the 1950’s and 1960’s. It’s an area with 3 bedroom bungalows and side splits on larger lots. Many of which are being torn down and replaced with new larger homes.
