The Oakville Festival of Film and Arts is on this week!
The Festival opens tomorrow Wednesday June 21st with a special event to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day. It’s being held at the @5Drive-In on Ninth Line, Oakville, ON.
It starts at 6:30 pm and there’ll be Indigenous film, food, drinks, dance, music, and drumming! The Canadian premiere of the Film “The Beehive” will be featured along with a Q & A with Filmmakers including Metis Writer/Director Alexander Lasheras. Free tickets to the event are available to anyone 21 years and younger.

This year’s lineup focuses on family and community, in a variety of shapes and forms, with emphasis on diversity, equity for all, and resiliency of spirit.
