Santa is coming to Town and that’s not all, there’s so many fun things to do In & Around Oakville this weekend to kick off the Holiday Season!
The festivities begin with Light Up The Night at Towne Square on Friday evening featuring the Sugar Plums followed by the Santa Claus Parade on Saturday morning. Find out Everything You Need To Know about the parade on the Town of Oakville website. There’s lots of holiday markets happening and Film.ca is holding a Christmas market in their parking lot after the parade and is showing two free Christmas movies: A Christmas Story (my favourite) and Elf.

Light up the Night @ Towne Square
Oakville’s spectacular holiday tree lighting celebration! There will be live entertainment at the Towne Square featuring the CW Carolling Champions The Sugar Plums. Enjoy a horse and carriage ride, visit Santa at his cabin and kick off your holiday shopping!

The AC/DC Show @ The Burlington Performing Arts Centre
The Beaches International Jazz Festival will take you for a ride on the rock ’n’ roll train through AC/DC’s incredible history of hits. You’ll hear hits from both eras Brian Johnson and (the late) Bon Scott as lead vocalist. The show is an authentic audio/visual recreation of the legendary Australian band.
