October is the Month to enjoy Fall Harvest and Halloween Events In and Around Oakville. If you’d like to go for a drive this weekend, head out Niagara way to The Good Earth Farm in Vineland. They’re having a Halloween Bash and you’ll be able to take photos with the giant sunflowers and corn stalks. They have a corn stalk maze that looks like a lot of fun. 

For scary movie lovers the Toronto After Dark Film Festival is being held at the Scotia Theatre in Toronto. Visit their website to see the lineup of new movies and shorts.

Tails & Treats @ Towne Square
Take your pup trick or treating downtown Oakville on Saturday. Start at 10 a.m. with a Doga Dog Yoga class at Towne Square. Enter the costume contest, browse the pup-up market and pick out your pumpkin at the Urban Pumpkin Patch. The Library will be hosting story-time in the patch, live children’s music and seasonal crafts. Proceeds raised from this event will support the Oakville Humane Society.
