Don’t forget that today is the ButterTart Festival over at Oakville Place! Originating in Quebec back in the 1600s these delicious pastry tarts remind me of simpler times. The delicious gooey filling is made with butter, sugar and eggs. Often raisins and walnuts are added to the filling. Stop by when you’re out today.
It’s time to Toboggan this weekend. The weather report says it’s going to warm up next week, so set aside some time to go. Here’s a list of Hills in Oakville and Burlington to try out. Click here for the list.

Real Estate News
My Listing at 708 – 2486 Old Bronte Road is a fabulous corner unit at Mint Condos. This open airy unit has a stunning sunset view. If you winter down south and want to be close to family and friends during the warm weather, it’s a great location. It has fabulous closet organizers in both bedrooms, and has been gently lived in.
I’ll be at Rain Condo Speers and Kerr on Sunday 2-4 pm. for an open house. Unit 515 is a studio unit that’s perfect for Students at Sheridan, First Time Buyers and Investors. It would also work for those requiring a quiet work space with amenities, it has meeting rooms, an indoor pool and a gym. If you’re consulting or working in Oakville a few days or weeks at a time it might make sense to own your own condo. The other units in the building will be open too and you can see all of them with one visit.
