The average sale price in April 2023 was down from April 2022 by 6.6%. The number of homes sold were up 10.7% from last year, and the number of homes listed for sale was down 12.3%. The days on market are 33 up from 15 days last April.
The demand to buy homes is ongoing and home prices are trending upward in the Oakville area. Buyers have adjusted to higher interest rates and moving forward, meeting the demand for homes will put pressure on prices. If you’re sitting on the sidelines it’s time to make your move.
