   Meet Me In Oakville

Remembrance Day Ceremonies November 11th & 12th 2023

For those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, we will never forget you.

On Saturday November 11th we remember not only those who fell in the Great War but also all of the brave men and women who gave their lives for the freedoms that we have today.

The tradition is to stop and be silent for 2 minutes at 11 a.m. on the 11th day of the 11th month and to wear your poppy as a symbol of Remembrance and Hope for a peaceful future.

There’s a number of ceremonies being held in Oakville, Milton and Burlington on Saturday and a few on Sunday. I’ll list them below.
